Background:
As the first born son Will's destiny was to join the Demis' Academy at age 17. He was trained and groomed from an early age for this path but his inquiring mind gradually led to an irreverent and defiant attitude towards the Demis. On the eve of his 17th birthday Will announced his intention to defy tradition and his destiny.
His father, a loyal Demi supporter, disowned Will for his rebellion. Knowing the consequences for defiance, Will left the safety of the city to pursue his own path and prove to himself and others that life without the Demis is not only possible but preferable.
