How is this different from the store I had before?
I actually locked in the 2nd largest distributor of games in the US so I can carry the big brand stuff we all know and love (or hate) such as:
Games Workshop, Privateer Press, Vallejo Paints, Battle Foam, Chessex, and Army Painter with many more to come.
With that said I wont be carrying my own products any more and you will see me plug the brand name products in the video to promote online sales in my store. I decided not to make my own products any more because with school and everything else that happens in life I didn’t have the time to keep up with the amount of orders that were surging in which caused delays and I was worried about customer service. But so I don’t keep anyone hanging, there will be a post on this blog with all my wash recipes as well as where to look to make new colors.
I am excited about the new store and being a painter, the store will cater to that. It will first and foremost start as a paint supply site.
GW items will be 26% OFF MSRP at all times. Tell your friends!
You will have the ability to order GW models by e-mailing me your order and I will send a paypal invoice which you can pay to finalize the order or the invoice will cancel after 48 hours.
I will also match or beat any price you find online or in a local advertisement as long as it’s not a seasonal sale, you provide a phone number to the store or a link to the site.
Why is the discount important? Seriously?
I am running this operation from home and since there is no store location lease to pay with electricity and insurance, I can discount like the big guys and often beat them on prices.
Home? Then you don’t carry stock?
My distributor is close. If you order Sunday night, I put the orders in Monday morning. Items come in Tuesday get put with each persons order and ship out same day unless I receive my package late in the day from the distributor. And after I mail it off it can take up to 3 days if you are in the North East of the US. So packages will take anywhere from 4-10 business days but I’m hoping the discount will be well worth the extra days.
The shop should be open for business at the end of August 2010. It’s online but not published as I have to wait about 3 weeks from today to get all my business paperwork back. I can’t sell anything until I have the papers is what the County is saying.
But that’s what I have been up to :) -Les
